Sergeant Ivan Parrish has been a member of the Keokuk Police Department since 1991. Sergeant Parrish was hired as a Patrol Officer, and was promoted to the rank of Sergeant in 1999. In 2002, Sergeant Ivan Parrish was appointed Crime Prevention Coordinator for the Keokuk Police Department. As Crime Prevention Coordinator, Sergeant Ivan Parrish's goals are to implement several programs which would work towards reducing crime and help keep Keokuk a safe place to live. One of the first programs to be implemented by the Crime Prevention Program will be a Neighborhood Watch Program, which has been officially titled "Keokuk Community Crime Watch". This program will begin with it's first meetings January 2003. For information on new programs and upcoming events, check the BULLETIN, which will be updated frequently.
